12 April 2017 (Wednesday)

Gonna have two part to my Seoul posts. Here's Part 1.

Day 0's a full day of flight stopping over at Taipei before departing for Seoul. Had sort of a dinner at Taipei Airport.

Arrived at Seoul at about 9.30pm? I went to buy my T-Money card at the convenience stall before catching the AREX from the airport all the way to Hongik University Station (Hongdae)! Our AirBnB for the first 2 nights is connected to the station.

I think this is my favourite place out of all hahaha. The view's great, it's convenient and it's so comfy?!

So we went to have supper at midnight at the convenience stall! Hot soup in the cold weather is the best.

13 April 2017 (Thursday)

Woke up at about 7.30am I think. Stone for awhile before preparing to go out. We headed to Issac Toast first which's like a walking distance from our AirBnB.

So we went to Seoul Station to get our tickets first for the Busan trip the next day.

Finally starting off the first day in Korea. Guess what's the first thing I have got to do? Find the freaking album store at Gwanghwamun. HAHAHAHA. It's the Hottracks at Kyobo Bookstore at Gwanghwamun Station! I bought a bunch of FT Island, Super Junior, DBSK albums...

& I got rewarded with Changmin and Siwon!! HAHAH

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Got our tickets for the palace before entering. It's so freaking huge!! Continue walking and you see so many old houses.

Thank God we persevered to the end 'cause the nicest view is not the palace but the back of the palace!!

I think we spent about 2 hours at the palace before heading for lunch at the mainstream Tosokchon Ginseng Chicken

It was so normal though it looks so good in pictures hahahaha.

I decided to walk another route to Bukchon Hanok because I want to pass by the Blue House. But the whole situation was so tense. There were so many guards and one security guard even stopped us. Okay but he ended up only thinking we don't know the directions hahaha. I don't daren't take pictures cause there were guards everywhere so this were all taken in a hurry HAHA.

Seriously feeling the Korean drama vibe man. It's as tense as the drama depicts it to be! or perhaps it's because we went during the wrong timing? It was the week of the North Korea's first leader birthday...? They have been testing their nuclear a lot this year and especially during that time.

Bukchon Hanok Village

Extremely disappointed (the things I see during the walk there was so much better than the place itself) with this place HAHA. It's so crowded and the whole steep slope was filled with people...

So we went back to our apartment to rest for awhile 'cause I had to put my albums down. I managed to squeeze it all in my bag but it was too heavy.

Hangang Park

Made a trip to the park heheh. It was so cold and windy over there and filled with many couples. Seriously loving the vibe over there hahaha. I think I can just stone there for hours and hours staring into the river.

We went back to Hongdae afterwards to have dinner. Walked a lot till we reached the main Hongdae area hahaha cause I realise I didn't save a proper map of where the main area was at.

16 April 2017 (Sunday)

So we arrived at Seoul from Busan at about noon and went to check in at the last apartment at Sindang Station. Took a bus from where we were staying to Myeongdong for lunch.

Myeongdong

Spent the whole afternoon at Myeongdong. Headed to Lotte Department Store to the Lotte Duty Free area to get some stuff and then of course to look for my SMTown pop up stores hahahaha. Finally found Ryeowook's mini album over there hehehe. They have like everything there too. I think we even got lost and walked all the way near the City Hall area underground. Then we walked back to Myeongdong.

 Too lazy to talk about all the other shopping and walking around that area. It was quite boring and it felt like any shopping district (feels a little like China just that it's cleaner) except that there were so many beauty products everywhere hahaha.

Sungyemun Gate

 Dinner at Yoogane! It was okay after the first mouth but... it got too much.

17 April 2017 (Monday)

Day at Everland!! The weather forecast said it was going to rain (like that was the only day it rained out of all the days) and it really rained the whole morning - afternoon so I spent the day being drenched to my knees HAHA. My hair was literally soaking wet?

We left at about 8am to Gangnam and then took a bus from there. There was like some presidential election thingy going on too.

Anyway we had to change to another shuttle bus at Yongin area.

Everland

There was a queue to enter because they only open at 10am! All the rides were operating even though it was raining, except for Viking and one other ride even after it stopped raining because they had to go through many tests. So we didn't take the Viking but we took the other one. Literally waiting in front for it to open.

Took the T-Express in the rain!! Went to ride it again after lunch hahahaha. I wanted to sit at the front row since we were first in the queue when it was our turn. AND YAS IT WAS GREAT!

Gangnam

We left at about 5:30pm and headed to Gangnam for dinner and shop a little and I spotted HEECHUL... on the poster.

I KAKAO the whole night away and brought home RYAN HAHAHAHA.

Okay so the next day I went on the DMZ/JSA tour alone followed by Namsam Tower at night... Will continue in my next post hahaha.
