Korean Drama OST Night 2015

Weird how the concert is on a Wednesday night! Initially when I saw this poster displaying in SISTIC website, I thought it was just a show by random singers. Little did I know K.Will and Baek Ji Young was going to perform in this concert! I immediately booked the tickets without thinking. Of course I went alone, since I don't really have much friends that are a fan of OST ballads or they wouldn't spend the money to go. But my favourite ballad singers in Korea is K.Will and Baek Ji Young! They are always singing songs that are in Gong Hyo Jin dramas and etc. I really love them so freaking much. It's so rare that they would come to Singapore as there ain't many fans so I'm so blessed and glad I came tonight because I don't know when's the next time they would be here again. It's so surreal because I never thought I would hear my favourite drama soundtracks live by the original singers!

So the show is at Star Vista Theatres. My second time here! The first time was when I had free tickets for BOYFRIEND Showcase and sat all the way at the front.

So the first 45 minutes of the show opening was by GB9 and Yoo Sung Eun. I don't know them but they sang all the popular drama songs. Their vocals ain't that bad but the thing about ballad songs is that you have to bring out your emotions and portray it in the song. Anyway, they sang together for the Goong OST song before K.Will and Baek Ji Young came out...

It's so different when K.Will finally came out and he sang with so much emotions. He sang all his own drama songs and one of the song from his solo album and I know all of them!! I least expected him to sing my favourite song, 'Real Love Song' from 'The Greatest Love' drama where Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Seung Won starred in. I didn't think it was that popular but he sang it and I was so touched. He only sang 6 songs for the night which is why I'm surprised he actually sang that! :-) He's so cute and adorable except when he's singing it's like totally serious mode on. Haha but no joke the vocals real life is so much better.

Baek Ji Young came out after him and ended the night with her show! She sang 9 songs for the night!! Her vocals was even more powerful. She sang "After a While" from 'Rooftop Prince' and she said this is the first time she's singing it on stage so it's a present for us! It's her second time in Singapore and K.Will's first time. She sang 2 of her upbeat songs cause she said she's the oldest there and can do whatever she want. A random guy came up to rap to the song that was supposedly suppose to be Taecyeon but cause she say hiring an artiste would be expensive so she asked us to guess who it was. It turned out to be her manager of 10 years!

It was a really good night but it's hard for them to have concerts in Singapore I guess since the crowd is not that fantastic. Maybe one day I'll go to their native country and listen to them sing again. Korean dramas are all a success because of their soundtracks and background music. Without them, the dramas would lack that emotion.

Always happy to attend concerts when you know every single song. But the sad thing is that it has got to end and you just can't get enough!!
