Penang, Malaysia (May 2017)

Extremely impromptu trip to Penang. She was just asking me randomly one day while we were walking at nex and I say if you can find me a ticket that's $100 or less then ok. In the end we found it and we booked immediately at night just a week or so before the trip??

We stayed at Hotel Jen, it was newly built I think and they gave us one of the highest floor. The room is really quite shiok and big. There's even a bath tub and etc.

After nua-ing for awhile, we decided to go find some food nearby but we got lost at the private properties somewhere. Thankfully some Chinese locals saw us and asked us where we were going. Then they asked us to walk to New Lane Hawker Centre.

Ordered some food and the Penang Hokkien Mee was soooooooo good??? Came back the next day cause I had mad craving for it.

Penang Hill

We then took grab to Penang Hill 'cause I had no idea where to go. We took this cable-car/tram thingy all the way up and it was kind of scary. But the trip there was so worth it!!

Gurney Drive

Grabbed to Gurney Drive to have dinner before heading back. We walked to a hotel nearby 'cause we couldn't call grab at the area around us. Ended up buying Macs before calling our grab back.

Went to have breakfast somewhere nearby before grabbing to George Town.

New Lane Hawker Centre & Queensbay Shopping Centre

We went back to rest 'cause it was really hot and we walked a l o t. Went to New Lane Hawker Centre to satisfy my cravings before taking a grab to a shopping centre wanting to go to the beach nearby but it was drizzling. We ended up having massage somewhere opposite the shopping centre before heading back.
