Bangkok, Thailand (July 2019)

How this trip came about was when we were casually about to go shopping at CityLink mall few months back and then started harping about how the clothes are so ex and we wanna go on a shopping spree at BKK. So we headed to Macs and just sat there looking for reasonably priced flight and booked the tickets a few days later HAHAHA. 

Xinfen came to stay over at my place the day before cause we had to leave for the airport early to catch our 7am flight to Don Mueang Airport. Upon arriving we took a cab to Amari Watergate Bangkok Hotel before heading out for breakfast/lunch? Went to some shopping mall next to Pratunam to have some noodles and it was soo good omg.

After shopping for a bit in the morning at Pratunam Market, we stopped by at Starbucks probably around noon and just sat there for almost an hour using our phones and stoning. The staff over there gave us this free sample thingy to try while we were there.

Big C Supermarket

Central World

Went to CentralWorld and had steamboat at MK for dinner! There was also some like parasamalam outside CentralWorld and we bought the Manga Blended Smoothie there which tasted so so good.

Talad Neon Night Market

This night market was near our place but there was nothing much there. But we had a good walk tho.

Ending off our night with a ridiculous photoshoot. Had more taken in my film camera. Hahaha.

27 July 2019 (Saturday)

Chatuchak 

Headed to Chatuchak at around 8-9am and went for like breakfast/lunch there too after shopping a bit. We kept getting lost but ended up finding some good spots for shopping. 

Finally trying this coconut ice-cream and it tasted so good! We tried some the next day from some random shopping mall and the taste is really different. But there were a few stores selling coconut ice-cream at Chatuchak and we were initially queueing for one but then decided to go to the one with a longer queue and no regrets man. 

CentralWorld - After You

Went back to the hotel to nua and then headed to After You at CentralWorld! There was a queue but we went in pretty fast. Went back to the hotel and I fell asleep. 

Ratchada Rot Fai Train Night Market

It was so crowded initially at the food area that we didn't feel like eating anything. It ended up drizzling and the crowd sort of scattered but we continued walking and shopping a little cause the store owners opened up their shelter. We later walked to the shopping mall next door to take a grab but we kept getting cancelled and all so we ended up going underground and went across to call for a grab and finally succeeded after waiting for ages...

Went back to the hotel and pack our stuff and had like cup noodles for dinner. Bought this butter bun thing from After You but we didn't eat in the end... We even carried it to the airport the next day but realised that the butter all melted so we threw it away HAHAHA

28 July 2019 (Sunday)

I think we went to some new shopping centre next to Big C for lunch before heading to Pratunam Market for some for some last round of shopping at Pratunam. Went back to the hotel to take our luggages which we have parked at the hotel lobby before grabbing to the airport for our 5pm flight. 

We did went for foot massage twice and nua a lot during the trip. It was quite a chill trip with lots of good buys tho it was just 3D2N. Can't wait for the next trip to BKK which may very well be few years later when I hit my 30s :/
