Going to Hong Kong again after less than a month from being back from Hong Kong...
So we took a train from Guangzhou East Railway Station headed towards Hung Hom station in Hong Kong! Reached there quite late at night and checked in to our hotel (Shamrock Hotel, at Jordan Station) before going out for supper.
Ended up going to some bar or something and then we ordered cocktail and stuff. Played the number game and so on for a few hours and the penalty’s being able to draw on the face hahaha. Stayed there till quite late before going back to sleep.
23 October 2015 (Friday)
Woke up early and look for breakfast before going out at about 9 or so. The Australian Dairy Company had a long queue so I just ate 鱼蛋 at a random store.
Savannah College of Art and Design
This school is kind of cool since it uses the old police/court building and transformed it to a school so the whole school is based on a theme!
Mong Kok 旺角
Separated ways with the rest so I brought Shimin, Charlene and Abigail to Mongkok because we want to watch Our Times 我的少女时代 at Langham Place. Had lunch at a restaurant nearby and it was so good! Walked around Mong Kok for awhile before leaving.
Went to the Avenue of Stars in the evening and met Craig there. But I have no idea why it was closed for renovation so they couldn't see the stars but only the skyline. Headed to some steamboat place at Tsim Sha Tsui for dinner before walking around Nathan Road and then shit happened.
24 October 2015 (Saturday)
Slept till about noon and Abigail bought Macaroni from the Australian Dairy Company and then slept back till about 2pm. Shimin and I decided to head out to explore.
Causeway Bay > Wan Chai > Admiralty
Just walking along the street and being a local for a day…
Stopped by at this place to have macaroni for dinner! I forgot what the place is called but it's famous for its egg tarts but it's sold out....
Central Pier
Went to the place I always wanted to go in Hong Kong cause the various HK dramas I watched since young were always filmed at various piers. Needed some fresh air too and yay we found the place. There's a kind of event there that day so it was really packed...
Central
Headed to Central to meet Charlene and Abigail and also to get our Tai Cheong egg tarts. Stupid us bought so many egg tarts and there isn't a fridge in our hostel back in China so it ended up spoilt… But it was still edible the first day. Walked around central and also walked to Lan Kwai Fong before heading back to our hotel.
25 October 2015 (Sunday)
Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry
Took the ferry to Central Pier and then I forgot but I think we took another ferry or whatever to Ngong Ping at Lantau Island.
Lantau Island — Ngong Ping
Went to the Big Buddha but then I already went up there the previous time so I decided to go to the village area to use my wifi while waiting for them!
Wisdom Path
Didn't get to go the Wisdom Path previously but it was so peaceful and pretty up there! I think it's a must to go up there if you are in that area.
Mong Kok
The 4 of us decided to go the Mong Kok again for some last minute shopping so we left first and took the train there. Ate at the same restaurant again hahaha.
It was extremely crowded I guess also because it was a Sunday and there's so many Activities on the road and apparently the road closes on Sundays??
Bought a pair of shoe and some stuff before we head back to the hotel to pack and stuff and then head out again to Hung Hom station again to take the train back to Guangzhou…
