3rd time travelling to Thailand and the 2nd time in Bangkok after 10 years. Went there for a shopping and food spree for 3D2N. Walking to the destinations more than taking trains this time. It's freaking hot tho and I nearly died in the sun. But nevertheless it feels good being out of the country. This is the first time I paid for the flight, lodging and all expenses with my own money. That's how desperate I am to get out of Singapore. Those whom can always keep getting out of the country probably won't understand how desperate I am. I wanted to go to somewhere further but I don't think I can afford, but it's fine going to somewhere I'd been, I just want to get out.

I cannot explain how good it feels to be up in the sky for 2 hours and leaving a place temporarily. Going to somewhere else without a care about what's happening in Singapore. Even though I have wi-fi at night and hear my friends talking about what's going on, I don't really care 'cause I can't feel that reality and it's far away from me. I don't have to face anything. Life's good. Spent lots of time in the hotel too since it's not a holiday of making my money and time worth but more on enjoying myself.

Arrived at the hotel at about 10am. Walked to Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market. Shopped and eat around that area for the entire day.

The MacDonald there is heavenly! The chicken is spicy and they had rice! Ate Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Rice on the first day. On the second day they changed the rice to Green Curry so I bought it again and it tastes good too.

Woke up at nearly noon the second day.. Left the hotel a while before noon and walked to Siam. The walk took about 20-30 minutes. Perspired like crazy and my nose was dying because I can't take the dust in the air. But it was great reaching Siam. Walk and ate around Siam Center, Siam Paragon MBK, Siam Square, Siam Night Market, Central World and Big C that day. I love Siam Square so much. The Hokkaido Milk tastes so good!!

Tried Magnum too since there isn't a store in Singapore.

Went to Chatuchak Market early in the morning. So disappointed with how that place changed. I don't like it anymore. It's 80% tourists. Bores the hell out of me so decided to go to Siam for lunch and I went back to Siam Square again. Took a train back this time, walked to Platinum Fashion Mall to walk around again before heading back to the hotel and checking out at 6pm, their time. Headed to the airport and ate dinner there. Arrived at Changi Airport at around 1am.

Stayed at the 93 Hotel thanks to Tse Shing recommendation heh. Took Jetstar for this trip too.

Didn't bother bringing my camera along since there's nothing for me to do any sight-seeing in Bangkok itself. I still prefer Chiangmai's weather a lot, obviously. First time going on a holiday in February, in the beginning of a year. Hahahah. Walking along the streets, looking at all the graffiti on the wall and destroyed buildings.
