Jeonju, Korea (October 2019)

28 October 2019 (Monday)

Left our apartment to Seoul Station to catch our 7am train to Jeonju!! It was approximately a 2h journey to Jeonju. Took a bus from the station upon arriving. The train station was really old and it didn't really seem like there was gonna be a KTX there haha.

Went to hunt for PNB Bakery which was really popular around that area but the buns were so-so tho. Not worth the hype.

Jeondong Catholic Cathedral

Gyeonggijeon Shrine (경기전)

JeonJu Hanok Village

Stopped by some cafe that looked cozy and nice before heading out to find some bibimbap cause we can't leave Jeonju without trying the bibimbap since it originated from there.

Ended up settling on this bibimbap cause the store look pretty old and it was not bad! Got the hot-stone bibimbap and the normal one too.

Pungnammum Gate

Chanced upon some doughnut at the market outside Pungnammun gate so we bought some and didn't know that it had red bean inside but it tasted so good! It was freshly fried and it was so crispy and hot on the outside and soft on the inside omg.

Jaman Art Village

We finished exploring Jeonju at around 12-1pm and had nothing much to do already so we tried going back to the train station to see if we can switch for an earlier train ticket and woohoo we got a 4pm+ ticket back to Seoul. Went back to the Hanok Village and had some more bibimbap / pancakes at a restaurant that 2D1N S3 went!! The pancake was good but the bibimbap at the earlier place was nicer hahaha.

Went to the train station and I had some ramyeon at the station while waiting for the train.

Since we were back at Seoul early, we headed to Lotte Mart and I bought myself a blanket cause it was freaking cold and it ended up being the blanket that I use now hahahha.
