19 March 2016 (Saturday)
Left Osaka and headed to our next Airbnb stop at Tokyo, Nishi-Ogikubo. We took at few hours train to Tokyo Station and changed a couple of train before arriving at our stop. Another ulu place...
Nishi-Ogikubo
We had quite a hard time finding for our Airbnb apartment. And the door wasn't lock when we arrived. We didn't have any WiFi so we were panicking on how to enter the house cause we kept ringing the bell but there weren't anyone. So we were quite shock when pushing the door and it opened. So we put our luggage down at the 3rd floor and explored the house a little before leaving. We didn't lock the door cause we weren't sure if the owner wanted us to lock or not but okay it turned out we were supposed to lock the door...

Had Ramen at the store near where we were staying. It was quite good so we came back again the next day.
Fujiko F Fujio Museum
So we came to Tokyo for only 3 reasons - Doraemon Museum, Studio Ghibli Museum and DisneySEA. My only reason was Studio Ghibli of course! I guess it has always been a little dream of mine especially when I'm so in love with Ghibli since I was 11 years old! It's been 9 years and I finally stepped into the museum. Okay, I should talk about it when I get to that part...So yeah Shimin dream came true at the Doraemon Museum. We took the bus to and fro from the station we were supposed to get off I think it was Noborito Station? We didn't know where to go and I wanted to go to Decks Tokyo Beach again. I have been there and I remembered the view to be quite a nice one (also because JaeJoong posted a photo of him being at Decks Tokyo Beach but that was about 4-5 years back...). We had quite a hard time finding our way there cause there's a special train to go there (I remember the previous time it was confusing as hell and we took that train too). So we somehow found our way and from the train you're able to see Tokyo Tower and so on...
Odaiba / Decks Tokyo Beach
Okay so it was a disappointment because the Rainbow bridge wasn't Rainbow that day!?!@?!@! And perhaps it's not winter so things felt different I don't know. But I guess that feeling from 6 years ago's gone. I was kind of disappointed. Hahaha. We still roamed around that area anyway as the shopping malls were all filled with old school stuff from our childhood! This girl wasted $6 on this... when we were going to DisneySEA the next day... Anyway I had a hard time trying to get WiFi to contact the owner of the AirBnB but okay everything went well in the end when we got home pretty late.

Tokyo DisneySEA
Had a really good sleep man. I swear our AirBnb was so cozy and it has always been my dream to live in the attic... The bed was so comfortable, I slept really really well. Anyway we left in the early morning at about 6+ because I heard the queue for DisneySEA can get really crazy.

This is the view of the Disneyland queue from the train...

And here's the queue for DisneySEA.... Even though we already came really early, this was at about 8am.
Tower of Terror! We got the fast pass for it at 4:05! And it was quite a good ride! I totally recommend this and the other one which was Journey to the center of the Earth or something? (the one with a volcano). We were only able to ride about 4 rides because the queue was MAD CRAZY....
This ice-cream's really good and it's so cute hahaha.
Got a little tired so we headed somewhere to eat and the entire place was so crowded oh gosh. This is probably the most expensive nuggets I've ever ate in my entire life but I shall comfort myself that it's at least shaped after Mickey.
We were too lazy to stay for the Fireworks so we left...

Got back to our cozy attic!!
21 March 2016 (Monday)
My Studio Ghibli Museum was scheduled at 2pm so we decided we need a rest (afterall it's a holiday...) and the bed's so comfortable so we slept till about 11am?! Then we head out and I went to Asanoya that's at the train station to get a bread.
Ghibli Museum, Mitaka
Oh my god so excited when I saw this!!! After looking at it so many times from the screen..... Anyway we decided to walk since we were early and it was a freaking good decision to walk!!! Mikuni's such a nice town!Apparently this is the bus that goes to the museum.
We were about half an hour early so we had to wait quite awhile, which was also good because we can take some photographs outside hahahhaa.
Yay I got Spirited Away for my ticket!!!

My dream finally came true after 9 years!!! I really really love Hayao Miyazaki works, except his latest one 'The Wind Rises' but I love the rest. Initially when I was younger I imagined the museum to be a land... Something like the size of Disneyland... I thought there will be a cat bus that will ride you around the land and bring you to the different part which consists of perhaps the Spirited Away Studio, then moving on to Totoro Land. But okay it wasn't as expected and I was a tad disappointed but nevertheless I'm still happy! I was also lucky that I came right before it was going to close for renovations 2 months later! I shall live praying that one day a land might really appear!
Harajuku
Harajuku was even more crowded than the last time I came... The Daiso and Mac is still at the same place but all my Korean/Japanese idol shops are gone! Okay I guess the phase of that era was over. No more DBSK era. I miss the last time when everywhere there's only DBSK! Sigh... But anyway I still don't really like Harajuku we left after walking a round. And I just wanted to take a look at the old station entrance too.
Shibuya
So we headed to Shibuya because I felt like it was a mandatory thing to do when you are in Tokyo so Shimin have got to come here. But I still hate it. I gave it a second chance but I still hate Shibuya :'( My only aim was to find for Hachiko which was right in front of me but I walked so far to find it. HAHAHA.Too many people around that I couldn't get a shot with it. But it's at least a shot without someone next to it.
Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (Shinjuku Station)
Okay so I found out you can see a free view of Tokyo from this building (and I wanted to come here also cause I remembered Conan was always around here somehow!?) It wasn't a wrong choice cause it was quite a good experience visiting a government building! But it was quite a long walk from Shinjuku Station.

The feeling was just like how I feel when I read Conan. I don't know it felt so Conan-ish here and I even bought a Conan Badge Keychain HAHAHAHA!!

Didn't have a chance to visit Shinjuku which I previously lived in the previous time. But the train passed by and guess what I saw? TAKUYA KIMURA!!!?!?!?!?! AND WHAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING WAS THAT, the billboard didn't change EVEN AFTER 6 YEARS?! I immediately go searching for my instagram post of this picture in 2009 and yes I was right, the billboard didn't change after 6 years... Okay why am I hyperventilating over this!? But I'm so shock and yes I love Takuya...

Last night in Japan :'( Tokyo isn't that bad this time, in areas such as the place I'm staying in and Mikuni? Hahaha other than that I still didn't really like Tokyo.
22 March 2016 (Tuesday)
That's the end of my 2016 Japan Trip!I'm currently posting this in October but my dates will be the date that I've been there because I've lots of posts coming up and the order is gonna be kind of messy. This blog is really just to document the favourite moments in my life so that I can read back and remember things. As well as displaying all the photographs I've taken. Hahaha. Rather than keeping it or just having it up on my wall...
I love Japan so much but I don't think I'll be going Tokyo the next time round (but then I'm considering going to Ghibli again argh) but I really don't wanna go Tokyo but I want Ghibli... Help.
