First time going to Indonesia and it's for my distant cousin’s wedding? So my parents and I headed to Jakarta for 3 Days and 2 nights! Accommodation and all was free haha we just have to buy tickets there.
Upon arrival at the airport some relatives I have never seen before came to pick us up. We went to the house first and waited till it’s time to leave for the Church Wedding!
Gereja Santo Polikarpus
So the whole ceremony was about an hour or so. Headed back to the house for lunch and rested there till evening when they brought us to where we were going to stay. Oh and it's weird cause I have no idea why all the children get red packets from the groom and one of my grand aunt dragged me like literally pulled me to queue up and get too and it was so embarrassing!
Penthouse Grand Tropic
So it's a hotel but there's a penthouse at the highest floor that’s two stories high so my entire family stayed there which consists of my 2 aunts family and my grandmother.

It was raining on the first night when they brought us out to eat. But the food’s damn good especially the fish head curry oh my gosh.

Woke up early in the morning and then there was some family drama but anyway we left the penthouse and go to my aunt house. They brought me to dye my hair cause my aunt owns a salon there and I had massage and also trimmed my fringe on the way haha. Then we were brought back to the house and left for the hotel that we were going for the wedding and also staying for the night.
Oh and it blacked out in the house due to heavy rain and so we had to wait for awhile for my other cousin to drive us there.

The wedding’s so different from any other wedding that I have attended before! It's buffet style which is so awesome that I had 2-3 servings and desserts! Kueh Lapis in Indonesia is so good. And there's no table except for a corner and somehow we get to sit on the table probably cause we flew all the way there and were part of the main family somehow?? The family tree is pretty confusing but it’s all from paternal grandmother side.
So my mum and I went to take this perfume thing which we couldn't bring home 'cause it got thrown away at the customs forgetting it's liquid and we ain't checking in... The packaging is really pretty thou.
So after the wedding my mum and I decided to go out for a walk and have Starbucks. One of my aunt that just flew over decided to tag along.

Had the hotel breakfast before checking out and going back to my aunt house. They brought us out for lunch. I don't know what it's called but all the dishes were laid on the table and you just take what you want and at the end of the meal you will be charged for everything you touched!
Central Park Mall
Then we were brought to a mall cause we were deprived of shopping and I never spent a single cent till over here!! Okay but nothing much to buy so yeah.
Then we went back to the house again and waited till it’s time to leave for the airport.
Basically in Jakarta you need a car to survive cause the public transport is too messy and the bus is weirdly high up the ground HAHA. Okay but the jam is so bad in Jakarta, I guess it's because the transport system isn't developed and everyone have to rely on cars.
