6 November 2017 (Wednesday)
Took a domestic flight from Melbourne to Gold Coast early in the morning. Left Linnette's apartment at 4am and Uber-ed to Southern Cross Station to catch the Skybus to the airport. Quite lost at the domestic airport 'cause I was alone and had never taken a domestic flight before.
It was so cold in the early morning and I went to get a hashbrown at Macs 'cause there was still some time before the flight.
It's supposed to just be an e-ticket but as I was about to board, they gave me a physical ticket. Apparently they changed my seat and when I went up to the plane, I was at the front row, the emergency seats?? It was kind of awkward 'cause the Jetstar Air Steward was just sitting right in front of me and I had no idea where to look.
I sat between two caucasians and fell asleep anyway. Was about to reached by the time I woke up.
Gold Coast's airport is really so tropical!! Was panicking after I arrived 'cause I couldn't find the person I was looking for. HAHAHA. I even went to bag check and enter the departure hall again but couldn't find so I came out again. Oh yeah, anyone can enter the departure hall even if you're not taking a flight. I was just so lost???
Went to take a bus to a shopping mall for lunch before checking in to the airbnb at about 2pm.
The airbnb's really cozy but we didn't expect the place to look like that. In fact, I don't even remember choosing this airbnb so I really dk where it came from and why did he book this HAHA. But the exterior looks like something that comes out of a LA or California movie. There's Apple TV and Netflix and all in the room.

Surfers Paradise
We headed to Surfers Paradise for a walk and then went to shop for groceries as he was gonna cook pasta for me that night.
7 November 2017 (Thursday)
We had breakfast before heading out to Movie World!!! That's like our highlight of the trip! It was so gloomy throughout the entire day and there was even a heavy downpour at night. But thankfully we already reached our airbnb. You can see the gloominess through the photographs anyway.
Warners Bros Movie World
Sat on the Arkham Asylum & Superman ride so many times!! We tried out every single ride in Movie World except the kids one. Went for the Scooby Doo one but it was quite retarded HAHAH I screamed a little but it was a false alarm.
Surfers Paradise
Pancakes for dinner before I went to chill at the beach alone listening to Super Junior's new album because he wanna check out something. One More Chance has been playing non-stop from the beginning of the trip to the end.
Anyways, he came to find me after he's done and then we went to walk by the beach before heading back to our airbnb to Netflix and chill.
8 November 2017 (Friday)
Checked out of our airbnb and before heading to the next one, we went to Harbour Town Factory Outlet. I booked a shuttle bus somewhere nearby our airbnb which took us all the way there.
Harbour Town Factory Outlet
We then headed to our airbnb at Southport. Encountered many weird people along the way and later on we realised that this was quite a dangerous suburb with a very high crime rate??? Oh gosh, thank goodness we are still alive.

We hanged around Southport after checking in and then headed back there again for dinner hahaha. Spent quite a lot of time there just walking around 'cause there's nothing much to do that day already.

9 November 2017 (Saturday)
Cancelled all our plans - initially wanted to head to Brisbane.
10 November 2017 (Sunday)
Checked out of our airbnb and I accompanied him to check in to his airbnb 'cause I was heading back to Melbourne in the afternoon. We decided to chill at Surfers Paradise one last time before I took the bus back to the airport.
Melbourne
Arrived at Melbourne at around 7pm and took the bus to Southern Cross and it was already 8-9pm by then. I stopped at CBD area to have my dinner at some random ramen store which was surprisingly nice and then walked around the Chinatown area before taking a tram back - but I took the wrong way and ended up having to change... Finally arrived back at the apartment and went to shower and chill for awhile before going to bed.
(I'm posting this at the end of 2018 and after a year, this is still an unforgettable trip and I was really hella happy even though I ended up being a mess.)
I'm thankful, that we managed to keep one last promise together. If you ever read this, which I know you probably wouldn't, just know that you are still an important figure to me and you will always be. I hope you are happy with whatever you're doing and whoever you are with now. There's no one that has treated me better than you do and be there whenever I needed someone. But I have learnt to be independent without you and I'm proud of myself now too.
