For 16 years of my life, I have never celebrated my birthday before with my friend or received anything but this year it's a little different. Although it's only on your birthday that people treat you especially nice, but the thing is, at least they even bothered right? My birthday started badly, but I don't want to talk about it any more. I thought this year my birthday is ruined by the camp but it was worth it though this is the 2nd time I attended this camp.
Thank you to the people that gave me presents and cards and my 206'10 classmates whom bought a cake to celebrate with me a day late though. (BenedictLam, Bryan, Clifton, Eva, DarylLim, DeZhi, Frederick, Kokhow, Kyna, Mingyong, Murni, Nadra, Nicholas, Pearlyn, Prashanth, Tingting, TseShing and Xavier) and all the people that wished me face-to-face, text me, and the 15 people that wished me on Facebook too. HAHA. At least they bothered posting on my wall or wishing me right, considering me being a very lazy person to wish people. The people that wished me every year, some of them forgotten about it this year, but I can't blame them 'cause I don't like displaying my birthday and it's almost impossible to find it. But well, it turned out being awesome.
The day started of with waking up early and going to Mac with Nicholas, Tingting & Eva for breakfast, but didn't eat anything there but instead bought hashbrown to eat on the way to school. Then since there's camp, there's like 3 classes merging together for the talk so the classroom is packed with people. This Nadra embarrassed me by writing 'Happy Birthday Vanessa' on the whiteboard and started singing. Most Embarrassing moment I swear. Nothing much happened except that the end of the day everybody cried but I didn't. Went to AMK Hub Foodcourt with Pearlyn, Eva, Tingting, Nicholas, Wilson & JiaJie for dinner after the camp ended at about nearly 6. Walked halfway home after that with the same people that I meet early in the morning.
On Saturday, I didn't want to go to school but it was lucky I went. The day started of being boring and so on, almost regretted coming. Then during recess I was brought to the Kosi-O by Kyna, Pearlyn, Nicholas and Xavier. But it was very fail since Mingyong already told me what was going to happen the day before. Ya so they bought a cake to celebrate my belated birthday. Went back to class about 15 minutes late. After that we went to the hall for closing ceremony but that was in the afternoon. Melvin damn funny for all 3 days I swear. HAHA. After that people was called to the stage to talk at the end, and lots of brave people went up, that was the only part that made my eyes watery. The whole thing dragged till it delayed for 1 hour, but it was worth it and touching alright. Even Huayang went up. (Y) At the end of the whole thing, I didn't cry as much as others did, but this Germaine came to make me cry.
I'm sixteen but I don't feel anything about being sixteen. The fact that I can watch NC16 movies doesn't excite me anymore. It's like looking forward to being a teenager but after being one, you don't want to be anymore. Exactly the same, except that I have no wants of being 15 again.
