Osaka, Japan (December 2009)

19 December 2009
Woke up early and checked out of the hotel in Shinagawa. Took my first ever bullet train ride to Osaka! Saw snow on the way there for the first time in my life oh my gosh. Stayed in Toyoko Inn Hotel at Shin-Osaka this time round. It's just 5-10minutes walk from the Station.

Osaka Castle / Osaka Castle Hall
Checked in the hotel and then headed to Osaka Castle. There's the Hey!Say!Jump! concert on that night oh my gosh. We went there early in the morning and saw so many people sitting down by the street selling merchandises and etc. The crowd was horrible after we came out from the castle area 'cause I guess many people finished school and headed there. There's even a queue starting soon after. It was held at the Osaka Castle Hall, which I read once in Conan's Manga!! HAHA! 'Cause there was a murder case in that chapter. Can see the entire Osaka from the Osaka Castle too. Spent a few hours around that area. How I wish I can attend the concert too. Haha. Went to take the train and stopped at a subway where there's some stuff to shop. I thought I would return there so I only went to a cd shop and bought lots of DBSK Albums...

Den Den Town / Osaka Shinseikai / Tsutenkaku Tower
Another anime paradise at Den Den Town! Finally found Katekyou Hitman Reborn stuff and they are cheaper there. Stopped by some shops to buy some food and ended up getting lost soon...

So we just walked endlessly and landed ourselves at the Osaka Shinsekai area and we continued shopping there. It was getting really dark and then we realised we were lost. Walked to find a map and we saw the Tennoji Zoo. Walk along some alley and pathway. Ended up finding a building and an unknown train station. But we decided to go eat at that unknown shopping centre first before going to the train station and find our way back... There are some people singing for free on the bridge that connects all the buildings around that area. It's so funny seeing how they keep turning the sound of their speakers louder and louder but the street performers were really good. Anyway I ended up shopping at that unknown place and had ramen there before taking the long journey back home of multiple change of train rides.
